Harry Hickton has his sights set on more silverware this weekend (23-24 May) as the Power Maxed MINI CHALLENGE takes centre stage at Snetterton for the latest three rounds of the 2026 season.
On what promises to be an action-packed visit to the popular Norfolk venue, the Mannpower Motorsport driver heads into the third meeting of the year with a spring in his step after enjoying a strong showing last time out at Brands Hatch.
There, the 19-year-old started race one from pole position and played his part in a captivating battle for the lead, before ultimately settling for second and bagging his first podium finish of the new campaign.
Adding two more top-ten finishes along the way, the former MINI CHALLENGE Trophy title winner has elevated now sits fourth in the Drivers’ Championship and a focus on progressing even higher across this coming Saturday and Sunday.
Hickton will aim to do so with the support Maber Construction, Hysons Chartered Accountants, Vertex VT Consultants, MDH Roofing, Woodstock Plumbing and Heating Supplies, Omnific Civil Engineering, Childsey, Q Barriers and the Pool Lift Company too.
Harry Hickton: “After what a was a tricky Donington Park, securing a podium at Brands Hatch was just the bounce back we needed and had it not been for a few things conspiring against me, I think we could have had even stronger results there.
“I think it is easy to forget just how competitive this championship is and to be performing at the level we are, with very little budget and as a privateer entry, I think we can be proud of what has been achieved so far.
“That being said, now I’ve got my hands on some silverware I really want more. Snetterton provides a unique challenge and its a circuit I’ve always gone well at in the past, so I’m looking forward to getting there and seeing what we can achieve.”
Qualifying at Snetterton kicks off proceedings at 12:30 on Saturday before race one takes place later that afternoon at 16:50. Two more races - at 12:10 and 16:30 - will then follow on Sunday, the second of which will be aired live on ITV4.
