Harry Hickton has stated that he has ‘unfinished business to settle’ in the MINI CHALLENGE JCW this year after announcing that he will remain in the one-make series for the 2026 season.

Teaming up with Mannpower Motorsport for a second successive term, the 19-year-old heads into the forthcoming campaign eager to make his mark after enduring what was a rollercoaster debut season last year.

After claiming title glory in the MINI CHALLENGE Trophy in 2024, the Hampshire driver made the step up to the JCW Class last year and quickly established himself as one of the front runners on the grid.

Scoring a maiden overall podium at Silverstone and several Rookie Cup wins, Hickton sadly found himself out of luck on a number of occasions and his campaign ultimately ended in dramatic fashion as he suffered a scary high-speed accident at Brands Hatch.

The subsequent damage from the accident - which saw him barrel roll several times - all-but destroyed Hickton’s front-wheel-drive machine and left the second-generation racer not knowing what the future would hold.

Undeterred however, Hickton has since worked tirelessly over the winter months and with the support of his family and sponsors (both new and old) the talented teenager will take his place on the grid for 2026.

In addition, Hickton has also been recently announced as the winner of the 2026 Millers Oils Challenger Scheme, becoming an official Brand Ambassador for this year. As part of his prize, Hickton will receive structured support and work closely with the Millers Oils team on a range of topics.

With his car boasting the all-new F66 bodywork kit too, Hickton is relishing the prospect of once again competing on the British Touring Car Championship support bill; and he’s clear about his targets for the season ahead.

Harry Hickton: “I’m thrilled to be back in the MINI CHALLENGE JCW this year. We ended last season not really knowing whether we’d be back out but thanks to the support of my incredible family and sponsors, here we are.

“We went into the winter with a written off car and have worked tirelessly to get it turned around. None of what we have been able to achieve would have been possible without the incredible sponsors and partners that are on-board.

“They’ve all really stepped up and bought into the journey that we’re on; to each and every one of them I’ve got to say a big thank you. We’re got some amazing brands with us this year and I’m looking forward to announcing them all soon.

“As for my goals for the 2026 season, I want to be fighting for wins and podiums as much as possible. We’ve shown we can mix it at the very front and if we can try keep our noses clean, I don’t see any reason why we can’t challenge for the championship.”

The 2026 MINI CHALLENGE JCW season begins at Donington Park on April 18-19.
